There is about as much stability in the Middle East now as there were WMD's in Iraq. For years I was confused as to how Bush could say some of the things he says with a straight face. It finally dawned on me that the guy actually BELIEVES what he is saying. Almost half of the country also BELIEVES what he says. What he says does not scare me nearly as much as the fact that he BELIEVES it. I would feel much safer if I thought he was just trying to dupe the dupable. I can understand a con man but a madman makes me nervous.
