Just finished listening to Neil Young Rockin' the Free World. There's a strange catharsis to just hearing a rant from someone who looks at the same world you do, and sees the same ugliness. I guess it's just knowing you aren't alone in thinking those things are ugly. Maybe it's the feeling that - with people singing it so soulfully - yourself and others will be moved to do something about it.
