No thanks Irving

from - Buck

I'll put it bluntly: if you care for the quality of life in our American democracy, then you have to be for censorship.

This is just what I need. The warmongering godfather of the neoconservative movement taking on the role of philosopher king in order to tell me what I should or should not read or watch.

No thanks Irving. I’ll make that determination for myself and I am happy to let the rest of society make that decision for themselves.

Isn't it a shame that to these people sex is more abhorrent than war?

And it's not just sex that offends these people -- it is anything remotely related to it visually, suggestively, etc.

As usual, I gotta side with you. I fully understand the desire to make some materials less easily available to certain groups like minors (and some of that has to fall on parents). But to completely remove something from all circulation, and not allow an individual the right to view/read/hear it and decide "Hey, I like this" or "Um, this isn't for me (but I'm glad I know that now)" is unconscionable in my opinion.
