Tête-a-Tête-Tête: Tired of "Survivor"?

Well, I have a suggestion for a reality show. Take 15 Bush supporters and throw them in a house in the suburbs of, say, Falloojeh (Fallujah) for at least 14 days. We could watch them cope with the water problems, the lack of electricity, the checkpoints, the raids, the Iraqi National Guard, the bombings, and -- oh yeah -- the "insurgents." We could watch their house get bombed to the ground, their few belongings crushed under the weight of cement and brick, or simply burned or riddled with bullets. We could see them try to rebuild their life with their bare hands and the equivalent of $150.

Now THAT'S entertainment.

Personally, I would rather be "bored" than "bombed"

And anyway, that format has already been tried by "conservatives" over at FOX News. People will usually tune out before they are bored to death by opinions they do not want to hear.

Regarding the nerve you hit ... gee, sure takes a brave person to blast a comment but not leave any identifying information. I suppose I can understand a little trepidation over posting a contrarian view, but what about trying to dialogue? Oh well, judging from this individual's lovely bit of flame-baiting, I would have to guess that he/she is not interested in any opportunity for discussion. <begin sarcasm> Truly, this individual is an example of what makes our nation great! </sarcasm>

Regarding the TV show idea -- heck, sure sounds like a sur-reality program that I would actually watch. I might even purchase a TIVO so that I could archive the whole series for educational purposes.

Regarding FAUX NEWS (heh!) -- it's one of the best sit-coms on cable!
