Nope, not a thing. It's a propaganda piece from Truth.org attempting to stop the construction of a Lquid Natural Gas (LNG) plant in a remote part of the Baja penninsula. Lots of images of locals complaining about the potential impact on their lives, which may well be real, and no sourced information what-so-ever.

The reason for building LNG terminals in the US is because we are rapidly running out of accesible NG. As a result we have two basic options; spend more money to tap hard to reach reserves here in the US which will drive the price of NG up dramaticaly or liquify NG and ship in tankers from abroad. The latter will also increase the price of NG, but not nearly as much as tapping hard to reach domestic wells.

It should be known that I am both a Liberal and environmentalist, yet I consider Truthdotorg's position ill informed and irresponsible.
