It Ain't Just Fox, Y'all

Booman Tribune's susanhu has a nice spread with lots of good links on the fake news epidemic. There's an answer to this thing. It's called "the off switch". Newspapers at least have the courtesy to put "Advertisement" in fine print at the top of a column imported from an outside company's PR department.

What? You think that news organizations slant stuff?
Why, I'm sure I'll see an investigative report about the Disney Corporation shenanigans on ABC News, I just know it! :)

That news orgs slant is not news at all... you're right... I hope you followed the links, though - this isn't about slant, it's about including advertisements prepared by sponsors as though they were news segments.
