I was really not as offended by the cartoon as most will be. Whether Tillman went to Afghanistan to kill Arabs or whether he went to hand out chewing gum and soccer balls to the children of the Arabs somebody else killed only he knows. Either way, it turned out to be a losing proposition. It just seems to me that he would have served his country better by staying home and paying the taxes on that 3.6 million dollars than he did by dying at the hands of his friends in some remote canyon in only Allah-knows-where Afghanistan.
