At least those harbingers of hysteria are getting a little better when it comes to the types of solutions they propose.

Ooooh....nice selection of colors, too. My question is, who is going to be the first one to die from changing the filter if there was a "bird flu" epidemic? Whatever will they think of next!
How about we start re-selling those old bomb shelters from the early Cold War era. Y'know, the ones that would "protect your family in the event of a nuclear attack"? Don't forget your masks, though!

I'm smelling an opening for a Hollywood "The Day After Tomorrow" type over-the-top scare type movie update of Hitchcock's "The Birds" with this concept included.
