Ford: Ain't Wussies No More
from - smijer
Don't know why... if Ford was more scared of the gay community than of the Religious Reich... but they've reversed themselves and then some. Don't worry about a link. It's all over the place at the usual suspects.
Personally, I think this is a case of the corporation growing a bit of a moral backbone. Kudos to Ford.

I'm totally amazed, at least partly because I can't imagine that gays are more of a market force than conservative Christians. Maybe you're right about Ford's moral backbone.
I'll be convinced when they cancel their current plans for their super-SUV, the Ford Everest. From the Detroit News: "Unlike the Excursion, a 20-foot SUV built on a heavy-duty truck frame, [the Everest] should be able to fit in most garages." Um, I'd guess that anyone who has a need for a mountain-sized SUV would also have an extra-large garage.
