What's a man to do?
from - Buck
I have been surprised that I have not seen more of this on other blogs today.
I first saw it on CBS news early this morning.
By the looks of things a police officer told a guy to get up and then shot him for getting up.
I can remember a time when things like this would have infuriated me but for reasons I cannot explain they just do not infuriate me anymore.
I don't know if that is good or that is bad. I fear a police state but who am I going to complain about a police state to? The police?

Yea...it was all over the news out here last night. I haven't written about because, well, I write about too many things!

Yeah.. well, the homicide dept is investigating, so .. I guess the police are the ones to complain to, if you live long enough. Apparently (incredibly) this guy survived... so that's a silver lining.
this is crazy, and its because of * like this that a lot of people will shoot first at the police... getting more people killed in the long run... a vicious cycle.
I'm fearing a police state, too... not because of a rogue cop - hopefully he will be taken off the streets and dealt with in whatever way the case warrants, through the parts of our system that still work.
I fear the police state becuase the government is becoming more a government of men, not laws. And I complain to y'all about it.
Still hard to believe the guy just back from Iraq get's gunned down in his own back yard.

Unbelievable. This and all the taser stories, for that matter, and dozens more. I guess unbelievable isn't the right word.
