Checklist
from - smijer
March 17, Doctor Who premiere: Watched. Pretty good. Will take time for new Doctor to grow on me, but he has promise.
March 18, Iraq anniversary: Did not attend. Migraine.
March 19, church: Did attend. Var nice.
March 19, Ed Johnson Remembrance: Did attend, and was grateful for the chance. Was surprised to see several others whom I knew from other places - 3 UUs, one cast-member from the Exonerated.
To all whom I missed Saturday - I'm sorry - I was looking forward to seeing you... I was quite miserable that I couldn't make it.

I liked the new Dr. Who, too. I remember Christopher Eccleston from Cracker, in which he was excellent. For me, it's definitely watchable.

I was very disappointed to miss the Johnson remembrance. I was at an event out in Ooltewah at the time. How big was the crowd?

Alice - it was a very nice event. The crowd was small - less than 50 to my untrained eyes... I'll say I have a new respect for Ron Littlefield. I guess he was doing the politician thing & saying what the crowd wanted to hear, but at least it was done in a tasteful and compelling way. And, he certainly *seems* like a genuinely nice guy.
