George Bush asks a question that really shouldn't be so hard to answer. It's a two part answer: 1) People are willing to pay it, and 2) the world is on fire.

I wish I understood gas prices and economics. I have heard and read that there is no shortage of gas and that reserves are at their highest levels in years. Bush turns on the reserve spigot and supposedly the price has gone down. Nothing makes sense to me any more.
Not a damned thing.
