I made it all the way to number one and realized that if a pol has a campaign event with lots of American flags and someone sings the national anthem, apparently it fits the criteria for being one of the tenets of creeping fascism....

Shouldn't we look at who made this comparison and why before we panic and do away with patriotism and the flag. Actually, the comparison comes from a Humanist and it isn't that those who are patriotic flag wavers are always Facist, but rather that Facist recognize that it is easy to hide behind a good thing. We can't point at all patriots and say Nazi anymore than we can point to all relief agencies and say swindlers just because some took advantage of the situation after Katrina.
