Kindness

I got a wonderful Norman Rockwell book for Christmas called 'Simple Acts of Faith' that has some of the best quotes in it. I thought that I would share some of them today then more later. There are so many good ones I want to share them all!

"Life is not made up of great sacrifices or duties,
but of little things,
in which smiles and kindness and small obligations,
given habitually,
are what win and preserve the heart.
SIR HUMPHREY DAVY

"No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted."
AESOP

"And whatever you do, do it with kindness and love."
THE FIRST BOOK OF CORINTHIANS

"It's not the years in your life that count, it's the life in your years."
ABRAHAM LINCOLN

"Greet each other warmly in the Lord."
tHE SECOND BOOK OF CORINTHIANS

"We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give!"
WINSTON CHURCHILL

"My power shows up best in weak people."
THE SECOND BOOK OF CORINTHIANS

"We are cups, constantly and quietly being filled. The trick is knowing how to tip ourselves over and let the Beautiful Stuff out."
RAY BRADBURY
